We have exciting news! Elephants Delicatessen will once again be welcoming guests in Northwest Portland, with a return to the Uptown Shopping Center scheduled for early 2027.

After a March fire caused significant damage to our NW 22nd Avenue location, we committed to returning to the NW Portland neighborhood. We are thrilled to return to the Uptown Shopping Center, just three blocks from our prior location and Elephants' original home from 1979 to 2004.

We are so humbled by the well wishes and eagerness of this community for us to get back to Uptown. We look forward to sharing more details as our Spring 2027 opening approaches!

Are you following the Crows? 🐦‍⬛ We’re excited to be located within walking and biking distance of three of the one-of-a-kind sculptures on the Wildwood: Follow the Crows Trail! This whimsical adventure is the perfect excuse to explore downtown Portland and support OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the LAIKA movie, releasing on October 23rd.

With the beautiful Flying Fields Forever Crow by artist Sue-Del McCulloch right outside Flying Elephants at Fox Tower, and the stunning Emergence Crow by Olivia Mount (Tom McCall Park) and elegant Watercolor Crow by Rose Jubb (Yamhill Pedestrian Plaza) not far from Elephants World Trade Center and Flying Elephants at South Waterfront, Elephants is a delicious stop on your Wildwood journey.
