We’re at the end of the Miss delta road my friends…after 19 years of delicious southern food and so much fun, me and my family have decided to close the doors on the Miss delta chapter of our lives.

I could give y’all a million different reasons for closing up shop but there’s mainly two reasons why we made this decision-

1. After the death of a business partner, covid shutdowns, break-ins, a fire, multiple floods and now hard economic times- I just don’t have it in me to fight for it anymore and do everything needed to keep going!

2. After 37 years in the restaurant industry, I am leaving and moving into a different career path. The restaurant industry is a wild one and I’m ready to step back and try a new challenge with a better work/life balance!

We will be open until July 3rd with our normal hours and possibly a little shindig on our last day🔥

Come out and say hi until the last biscuit is out of the oven and let us give you hugs and fill your belly one last time before we lock the doors!

Tom and I love y’all and appreciate all your support, friendships and good times over the years.

The A/C is pumping and we’re cooking up brunch so come on down and see us!

We got a new HVAC system installed this winter and we are excited to feel the benefits of an A/C that actually works🎉🎉

It’s that time of year…wait, how did that happen so fast again?? Time flies!

Vote for us for Best of Portland…we’re up for Best Soul food and Best BBQ this year and we couldn’t be more proud 🥹

It’s pretty cool to see that we’re still appreciated and thought of after all these years…new trends and new restaurants come and go and we’re still here smoking it up, frying it up and loving it up!

-Blackout burger- Blackened patty, Delta cheese sauce, spicy mayo, shredded lettuce, pickled onions, brioche bun

-Backyard burger- 6oz patty, American cheese, BBQ sauce, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, brioche bun

-Burnt end sando- smokey burnt ends, BBQ sauce, pickle chips, brioche bun

-Brisket sando- sliced smokey brisket, BBQ sauce, pickle chips, onions, brioche bun
