Let’s go! Today’s suggested pairing is an americano and your Portland Book Week Bingo card! Kick-off is tomorrow, and we’re so excited to be a part of it this year and to help celebrate indie bookstores all over town. Although we aren’t a bookstore, we get to be included as a community library and literary space! 🥰

We have bingo cards if you need one! And we’ll be collecting your completed cards beginning tomorrow, so you can win prizes!

We love Portland, and we love books, and we love our incredible literary community — writers, readers, and artists of all kinds. We also love coffee! And breakfast tacos! So while you’re here, sip an americano made with Pastime Coffee, or have a bacon and egg breakfast taco (every day before 1pm), or try one of our famous zucchini mini-muffins.

Sincerely, we are so thrilled to see this kind of investment into one of our favorite buildings on the block! When we (owners Mary & Nathan) moved here as newlyweds in 2003, that space was DiPrima Dolce Italian bakery - where Nathan first worked as a barista! - and then Atomic Pizza fueled our family’s Friday night pizza movie nights for a good decade. We’ve been sad to see it sit empty for so long. So here’s to your new gorgeous renovation and more coffee for all! ❤️
