ā€œSheā€™s a business owner. Sheā€™s got her life together.ā€

Oh, boy. If only you knewā€¦ šŸ« 

Donā€™t get me wrong, I make sure my businesses are handled. Iā€™ve even extended a couple of new branches along the way. Insane? Perhaps. Worth it? 100%.

However, I am so much more than my businesses. Iā€™m a mother. A wife. A caregiver to my husband, who requires around-the-clock care. A daughter. A sister. A niece. A Gigi. A friend. An unintentional Uber driver. And, occasionally, an unpaid therapist.

The Universe has thrown some craptastic curveballs my way. But, I believe itā€™s how Iā€™ve chosen to handle those 100 mph pitches that has shaped the woman I am today: more understanding, more confident, more unbothered, and more driven.

Lessons arenā€™t only learned through success. Some of the greatest lessons are learned during the falls. What matters is how you choose to rise.

So, some days I run businesses.
Some days I run carpools.
Both are equally important.

Iā€™m not just the woman behind the businesses, Iā€™m the heart behind the hustle.

Last Sunday, WE had the absolute pleasure of being part of an incredible vendor team celebrating the wedding of a darling couple, Leslie & Nick! šŸ¤

And can WE talk about this venue?! The Griffin House is an absolutely stunning property overlooking the Columbia River Gorge! The perfect backdrop for such a beautiful celebration.

WE provided Cocktail Hour hors dā€™oeuvres service, along with a customized ChĆØ ThĆ”i Bar (Vietnamese Dessert Bar) and Boba Bar, while our sister brand, The Tipsy Elephant, kept the celebration flowing with a fully hosted bar.

Leslie & Nickā€™s family and friends came from near and farā€”as far as Vietnam!ā€” and this crew knew how to PARTY! WE had such a blast serving, laughing, dancing, and celebrating right alongside everyone.

And now that the wedding is over, I have a little confession to makeā€¦ Those ā€œshotsā€ you saw me taking with some of the guests? Straight Hā‚‚O, baby! šŸ’¦šŸ˜‚

I love a good time as much as anyone, but I can have ALL the fun without the alcohol, and definitely not while Iā€™m on the job. Your girlllll was hydrated, professional, and still matching everybodyā€™s energy!

Before the night is over, WE are shouting HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY to one of our favorite couples WE had the honor of catering for!

On August 2, 2025 and had a wedding reception hosting 450 guests! And let us tell you, it was a wedding for the ages! ā€œA TIME WAS HAD!ā€ is a massive understatement!

WE provided Cocktail Hour hors d'oeuvres servicesā€” specifically Quail Eggs Balut. Yes, you read that correctly. IYKYK! šŸ”„ WE also created their Che Thai Bar (Vietnamese Dessert), as well as full hosted bar service.

At the final delivery, I was greeted with a glass of sparkling RosĆ©. And as I was heading out, I was sent home with a bottle, too. When WE say WE have the best customers, WE REALLY DO! šŸ¤

This past weekend, WE had the honor of catering the wedding of one of the sweetest couples, Lily & Billy! šŸ¤

Hereā€™s what makes their story so special: While planning their Oregon wedding from afar, they found White Elephant Asian Fusion online and hired us without ever tasting our food. They trusted me and my team to create and execute their entire menu while accommodating their guestsā€™ dietary restrictions.

As an AAPI woman-owned small business, that kind of trust is something Iā€™ll never take for granted. Itā€™s one of the greatest compliments I could receive, and a reminder that Iā€™m exactly where Iā€™m meant to be.

WE had the pleasure of serving nearly 200 guests at Lilyā€™s parentsā€™ gorgeous property on Portlandā€™s west side. WE worked alongside an incredible vendor team and celebrated with some of the kindest families and friends. A huge shoutout to Coordinator Lianne Yun for keeping everything running so seamlesslyā€”you are a ROCKSTAR!
