Tonight is the event where we find out if we won the grant or not. Come on out and see the entries and vote for your favorite. It’s a good chance to come out and talk to the Downtown Development Board and have community input.

Thank you so much Noreen Logel for the beautiful flowers!! Also, thank you Ellen (how do I not know her last name, shame on me😭) for stopping in just to catch up on life!! (Of course I was too busy to actually catch up!!) My day was extremely stressful and these ladies just showed up not even knowing how big of an impact these seemingly small gestures meant me. I will tell all of my customers, you all mean the world to me!! It is times like this where you can stop, take a breath and know WE ALL MATTER!!

Holidays are a joyous time where we get to celebrate family, friends, and everything the season has to offer! What we don’t often stop to think about, is it can also be the most painful time of year for so many people. There are people in our own community who are alone, sick, or have suffered the loss of a loved one. There are people who struggle to make ends meet and are worried about how they will put together a holiday meal or have presents under the tree for their kids. As the holidays season begins enjoy every minute!! No matter where you are, challenge yourself to do one kind thing for someone, say something nice or just sit and listen. Tell someone they matter or slip them a card or note and tell them that they are loved!! Trust me, it will make you feel good but YOU can change someone’s prospective and make them feel seen, valued, and LOVED when they may need it most!!

Not sure why there is a rumor we sold The Moose. It is not true we are still here as always and there is no plan to sell. Come on down and get some ice cream we are open 7am to 9pm m-f and 2-7 on Saturday and Sunday.
