🍔BURGER WEEKEND AT BASTION IS COMING!

We’re firing up the grill next weekend.

Remember the burger at Fallow’s? Yeah. We missed it too, so we’re bringing it back for one weekend only! Saturday + Sunday, we’re serving a limited-run Bastion Burger, grilled outside over an open flame and available until sold out.

The Deets:
🍔House-made brioche bun
🍔¼ lb organic ground beef patty
🍔Charred red cabbage sauce + aioli
🍔Lettuce, tomato + onion
🍔Fermented pickle spear on the side

$15 and it’s yours!

A little heads up on how it’ll work: order your burger at the register just like usual, then grab a seat and get cozy. Since we’ll be grilling these beauties outside, burgers will come out hot off the grill as they’re ready and may arrive separately from the rest of your order.

The bounty of fresh summer produce is best enjoyed in its simplest and purest form, and what better way than atop the avocado toast?

Summertime tastes like: housemade gf multigrain bread piled high with avocado and a cherry tomato, snap pea & herb slaw tossed with olive oil, lemon juice and flaky salt. Simple perfection. This version of the toast will be available through the month of August.

Add an egg or salmon salad if you’re feeling frisky for a boost in protein!

Our BRAND NEW House Smoked Albacore Tuna Sandwich brings the summertime vibes like woah 🤯

As always, made with Tre-Fin ~ Day Boat Seafood albacore tuna, this variation is smoked to perfection and tossed into a refreshing salad and served with thick slabs of heirloom tomato, local mixed greens and our gf farmhouse multigrain bread. It’s here starting today and through the rest of the summer, so come give it a try!

Get ready for it, the summer vibes are strong here. 😎

Not only is the Tuna Niçoise back on the menu for the summer season, but we have a fun new tinned fish tray rolling out TOMORROW. You won’t want to miss it!

Tinned sardines, house made pickles, fermented mustard, cashew cream cheese & caper aioli, olives, and of course gf toast points featuring our farmhouse multigrain bread.

$20 for the tray as-is, or $30 if you pair it with a glass of our sparkling rosé because we think you’ll agree that the two are a match made in sunshine-patio-heaven.

We will be closing at 2pm on SATURDAY JULY 4TH to give our team an afternoon off to responsibly play in the sun, eat burgers, go fishing, and just generally have a well-deserved summer afternoon off. We’ll be back to regular hours of 9am-4pm on Sunday.

Can you believe it’s officially summer already?! The weather has been saying it’s summer for some time already, but when the farmers markets are open almost 7 days a week, kids are out of school, and the sunny days just feel pleasantly long and full of colorful wild flowers, summer just hits.

We haven’t launched our official summer menu just yet, but don’t fret we’re busy busy behind the scenes getting our ducks in a row to have it ready for you asap.

In the meantime, please enjoy these snapshots of what summer means to us:

1. The smoked salmon bagel, one of our most popular and delicious items containing our housemade grain-free bagel, housemade cashew cream cheese, and house smoked wild Alaskan salmon. There’s truly nothing like it anywhere else!

2. The tuna sandwich. Wild albacore tuna poached in olive oil and mixed with housemade aioli, capers, fennel, and a few secret goodies to make it unique and oh-so-perfect on a summer day

3. Our new lemon shortbread cookie which you will not believe is grain-free, vegan, and refined sugar free. Tell me how you get that buttery flavor without butter OR a gross vegan butter substitute?!?! Secrets, that’s how. 🤫 but actually, we never hide our ingredients so please ask!

4. The shakshuka. This one is newest to our menu as of spring, and we’re loving its addition to the menu! It’s colorful, it’s flavorful, it’s warm & hearty while still being light and bright. It’ll be sticking around for a little while 🫶🏼

Stay tuned for what the summer will bring! It’s going to be so full of fresh vegetables you won’t even have to go to the farmers market anymore! (Kidding, I wouldn’t do that to anyone, we all need our farmers market trips).

Taking a moment to honor our Albacore Tuna & Fennel Sandwich, it’s been a staple on our menu since day one (almost five years ago!!!!) and it still slaps.

Olive oil poached Tre-Fin ~ Day Boat Seafood tuna loins are tossed with our housemade garlic aioli, celery, capers, fennel, and a few key secret ingredients to make this beauty one to remember. It really shines in this gorgeous summer weather 😍

And it’s always paired with a side salad featuring Charmed Farms Collective insanely good salad greens!

Spring menu item lineup!

This time of year always has me enamored. The sun rises earlier and stays out later, buds blossom on the trees which begin turning to tender new leaves, garden beds are popping with starts, and food goes from heavy winter flavors to the light and bright bounty of spring.

Our first spring menu items are our spring harvest bowl, featuring a mint and wild nettle pesto utilizing nettles that I forage for personally every week, our chicken soupe au pistou which features a bright, citrusy pistou (like a pesto, but without nuts or seeds!) and an herbes de Provence seasoned bone broth base, and of course our shakshuka which we debuted last week.

All of course are 100% free from gluten, dairy, refined sugar, seed oils, and processed ingredients and feature what we have seasonally in the PNW right now.

Come try them out and fall in love with spring with us.

Have you tried our new Shakshuka yet? The spring weather has brought all the warm weather inspiration to our kitchen, and we’re super excited to offer shakshuka as part of our new spring menu lineup.

We start with a classic tomato and roasted red pepper sauce simmered slowly with onion and secret spices, top it with farm fresh eggs cooked to order and serve it with fresh arugula, parsley, cilantro, peas, pickled red onion, housemade hazelnut dukkah and a side of our gf farmhouse multigrain toast.

It’ll be on the menu through the spring, but it’s available on weekdays and for dine-in only so plan accordingly!
