❤️ 20 YEARS OF SUZY’S — A JOURNEY I’LL ALWAYS CHERISH ❤️
December 1st is a day that means more to me than I can really put into words.
Twenty years ago, my parents, Dana and Susan Stover, opened the doors to Suzy’s Steak & Seafood House. They had a dream, they took a chance, and they poured their hearts into building something special.
I grew up watching my parents work, sacrifice, worry, laugh, celebrate, and put so much of themselves into Suzy’s. At the time, I probably didn't realize just how much I was learning from them.
Five years ago, I took over Suzy’s
Taking over the restaurant they built was both an incredible honor and a huge responsibility. There were moments when I wondered if I could do it the way they had. There were long days, difficult days, and days when I was exhausted — but there were also so many moments that reminded me why I wanted to keep going.
Because this isn't just a restaurant to me.
This is my family's story.
It is my parents' hard work.
It is the memories they've created.
It is the people who have walked through these doors for 20 years.
It is the employees who have become like family.
And it is the customers who have supported us through all the years and made Suzy’s part of their own stories.
Over the past five years, I've realized that taking over Suzy’s wasn't about replacing what my parents built. It was about carrying it forward.
I am so proud to be their daughter and to have the opportunity to continue something they started 20 years ago.
And honestly, I don't think I could have made it through these five years without all of you.
Every time you choose to spend your evening with us, celebrate a birthday or anniversary here, stop in for dinner, enjoy a drink at the bar, or simply walk through our doors, you are helping keep our family's dream alive.
That means more to me than you will ever know. ❤️
So on December 1st, I want to celebrate with you.
We'll have cocktails and appetizers, but more importantly, we'll have a chance to come together, look back at 20 incredible years, and raise a glass to everything Suzy’s has meant to so many of us.
I especially want to raise that glass to my mom and dad — Dana and Susan — for having the courage to start this journey 20 years ago and for trusting me to carry it forward five years ago.
And I want to raise one to all of you who have stood beside us along the way.
Thank you for 20 years of memories. Thank you for these past five years. Thank you for believing in me. And thank you for continuing to make Suzy’s feel like home.
