We have had 3 power outages, although they were quick, we need to evaluate, we are still with out any phone or internet service, we once again will need to close. So Sorry for the inconvenience

Just a heads up, we are unfortunately without internet for the time being, so no phones, and no credit card transactions are available at this time. However, we do have power so if you come in we can still provide service, if you are able to bring cash that is greatly appreciated, other wise we will need to take your cc info and run it once it is up and running, so sorry for the inconvenience.

We will be up and running today! We got in fresh deliveries and had a great crew come and help get us prepped up. We will be reaching out as soon as possible to see what we can do to help, so stay posted, I did just get ice bags delivered, we will start filling them soon and they will be available for free for as much as we can, but for now you can come in or call at 219-762-5563 or you can place orders online. Thank you!

Good news, we somehow pulled off a catering for an outdoor wedding of 300 and it was beautiful. Bad news, the restaurant went dark once again, obviously we're not sure what to do at this point except to maybe have a cocktail, if you know us I'm hoping that "maybe" made you smirk just a little 😏 thanks for the support and we'll try to keep you posted as much as our wifi feels fit

Just touching base, I know how much people our struggling right now. Please know that even though you may not have seen or heard from us does not mean we are not doing everything we can.

Thank you to our son Isaac, Ashley, our nephew Jamen and Danielle for working not only in the dark but to the point of heat stroke to make whatever we could to help out as many as possible.

We do have power back on at the restaurant and are assessing the next steps, safety is always a priority and I cannot tell you how much it has broke my heart at the amount food that had to be thrown away. We are working to restock, get deliveries, and also working on the damage to our own home and our neighbors.

Our goal is to reopen to the public on Tuesday, but we will be reaching out to see what we can do to help privately to the so many affected in the mean time. If you have a contact that can help us with this please reach out to [email protected]

That being said, we are extremely grateful for our family being safe and that we are still standing. We are still in the dark with the rest of you here at home, but light will be coming. Stay strong NWI

07/03/2026

We will be closed from Friday 7/3 thru Monday 7/6, to give the crew a break and take care of some maintenance, we apologize for any inconvenience, and hope you all have a happy and safe weekend!
