Portage Lakes All-In-One Entertainment Spot

Pick’s at PLX is a 16,000 square foot facility that sits on the shore of the West Reservoir of Portage Lakes in Akron, Ohio. We offer dining, live sports and PPV events, live bands & entertainment, and a beautiful banquet hall for private events and conferences. Split into four different entities, we have the largest lake frontage of all Portage Lakes destinations, complete with 4 bars and a full-scale kitchen.

Pick’s features over 20 slips & the largest patio of any Portage Lakes lakeside bar. Have a drink outside under our covered patio bar! We have been blessed one of the most breathtaking views on the Lakes, with a giant patio for our guests to come dockside and relax. Watch rowboats, fishing boats, pontoons and kayaks drift about the lake, as they have for over 150 years.

MUSIC & EVENTS

Starting from the ground up, our level 1 sports bar “Locals” is the number one spot to catch all your favorite live events. Locals features a full-scale bar, live music, karaoke nights, comedy & other live entertainment with hand-picked craft beers and great food. Check out the old-school arcade games like Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, or play Darts & Golden Tee! Locals On The Lakes has comfortable seating for 200+ guests including outdoor patio seating overlooking the beautiful West Reservoir.

Moving up a level, huge windows overlooking the lake and a bistro inspired décor set the stage for our family-oriented restaurant, “Table 530”. A cozy, yet elegant lakeside charmer, Table 530 offers fresh, seasonally inspired flavors complete with a full bar. Our head chef captures the freshest ingredients of the season, preparing them with culinary imagination to create an American influenced, savory meal for you and your guests. Outdoor patio seating is available during the spring and summer months, with a shaded awning, ceiling fans, and lighting, our patio is the perfect setting to enjoy the warm weather while dining with family and friends.

The Sports Bar: “Locals” – With over 20 giant 55+inch HD TVs and packages like The NFL Sunday Ticket, UFC PPV events, & College Gameday, Locals has all of your favorite teams and schedules covered.

Our Restaurant: “Table 530” – An art deco design dating back to the 1940’s & 1950’s features casual dining with Lake Erie perch, salmon, and steak just to name a few offerings.

Seating up to 150 people, Table 530 is on our second level, & features a full bar, table & booth seating with a very laid back feel and incredible views. Come as you are!
