Lunch Special of the week! I had some great friends call me up when they were in Hampton and asked me if Id like some watermelon... and yes, yes i did. So for the killer hot summer, Watermelon Gaspacho to cool you off... Lots of watermelon, tomato, red onion, green onion, ginger, garlic, touch of fresno chili (the gaspacho is not spicy), cucumber, and mint. Touch of olive oil on the finish.

Mardi Gras is rolling back into the Town of Port Royal 🎭💜💚💛

Join us for the Krewe of Port Royal Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, February 7. Lineup begins at 3 PM at the Port Royal Post Office on Paris Avenue, with the parade stepping off at 4 PM.

The celebration continues at Shellring Aleworks with a Battle of the Bands featuring Whale Branch High School and Battery Creek High School, plus food trucks, live music, and a face painter for the kids.

It’s a full afternoon of community, music, and Mardi Gras spirit—don’t miss it.
