🤍🦋 No matter where I go, somehow a little white butterfly always seems to find me.

This one was outside Maggie's Mexican Food today.

My mom used to tell me, “We are strong as butterflies.”
I never fully understood how something so delicate could represent strength until life taught me that strength doesn't always have to look strong.
So maybe it's just a butterfly… but in my heart, I like to believe it's Mom reminding me that she's still here,still watching over me, and still walking beside me through every new chapter of my lifei, and reminding me of the words she told me so many times.
“We are strong as butterflies.”

Watching this makes me extremely emotional. 🥹❤️

These pictures are the story of how an empty building slowly became Maggie’s Mexican Food 🙏

There was cleaning, painting, fixing, building, carrying, sweeping, long days, messy days, and plenty of moments when it felt like there was still SO much left to do. 😂

But what I see most when I look at these pictures is people. ❤️
Family, friends, employees, volunteers, and so many wonderful people who gave their time and helped me turn this place into something I had dreamed about for a very long time.

From the first day of cleaning…
to the paint on the walls…
to the sign going up…
to finally opening the doors. ❤️
Every corner of this restaurant has a story, and so many of you are part of it.
I will never forget the hands that helped build this dream.
This is our BEFORE, DURING & AFTER.

And somehow, somewhere along the way, it stopped being just a building…
It became Maggie’s. ❤️🇲🇽
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who helped us get here.

Our first full week in our new home is officially in the books, and I honestly don’t even know where to begin

You all showed up for us even with the road construction happening right in front of the restaurant. ❤️

THANK YOU.

Thank you for finding your way to us.
Thank you for waiting when we were busy.
Thank you for being patient while we adjust to our new kitchen.
Thank you for supporting my employees.
And most of all, thank you for continuing to support this crazy dream of mine. 🥹❤️

We learned A LOT this first week, and we’re already making changes to help things run smoother and get your food out faster.

Now it’s Sunday, which means… NEW WEEK, NEW MENU! 🎉🌮

Thank you all for a wonderful first two days at our new home! As we head into our third day we would like our guests to know there is construction and road blocks on our road however we are still open! Please note if you’re coming north bound on 24th st you will have to detour around the construction, but if you’re driving south bound on 24th St then you are able to go around the road block to access our parking lot! We appreciate your patience and kindness and look forward to serving y’all!

WOW… what an incredible first day! 🥹❤️

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported us today. Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new customers, and watching this place finally come to life meant more to me than I can put into words.

I also want to sincerely apologize to those of you who experienced longer wait times than we would have liked. We had an amazing turnout, and we are still learning how to work efficiently in our new space. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding while my team and I find our rhythm.

We learned a lot today, and we’ll keep making adjustments so we can serve you better and faster.

But tonight, I’m going home with a very full heart. ❤️
