Today would have been my 10 year anniversary at a privilege and a dream I never thought would happen! Throughout life’s challenges I managed to stay open successfully 9 and a half years. Only with Gods grace and the wonderful people I was blessed to be surrounded with made this happen! When I made this very first post I could have NEVER IMAGINED THE AMAZING JOURNEY I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE!!! If I had a star for every memory the sky sure could tell a story. Even though I miss Y’all, I’m so overwhelmed I got to do it! Going back reading every post reminds me I’m supposed to smile it happen😃. Thanks for all the love and support the last decade😮. Remember to dance in the kitchen ♥️♥️

Well guys I closed for summer to get answers about my health and I’m right where I started 4 months later in so much more pain! I’m tired of hiding from the truth and people asking for a roast beef poboy everywhere I go!! I appreciate the compliment 💜. After living my dream for almost a decade I have chosen to close Scooters. I can’t thank all my friends and customers for supporting me all these years. Scoot is 20 today and I opened a half a lifetime ago for her. We have had so many memories in these 2 buildings and honestly I don’t know how I did it? When you absolutely love what you do it really isn’t work, it’s a dream come true for me. I never imagined I would accomplish this many milestones for this long!! Please don’t be sad or feel sorry for me, I’m not. Not everyone can say they lived their dream and made a difference in so many peoples lives!! Mom and dad you taught me how to enjoy feeding everyone and having a nothing is too much trouble attitude. I am forever grateful you gave me the love for it. I hope I made you guys proud!! To quote the last quote in Pete’s celebration of life video. DONT CRY BECAUSE IT’S OVER, SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED 😊🧅🫑🥖🍔

As of January 29th Scooters will be serving Panini's and homemade soups. I was gonna do it a few years ago when I bought the Lazy Daisy's panini machine but a new cute restaurant opened and it was their speciality. SO I didn't, but now it's time. I will post pics about what kinds. Thank you all for your support while my dad was sick. I don't know how I made it? We will also be back to regular hours Mon thru Fri 11 to 5. Thanks for all the customers concern and prayers, it means the world!!

Scooters will be open tomorrow night for prom. Candle light dinners. We are keeping it simple and hopefully not too messy? Chef and chicken salads, gumbo and shrimp bisque. And for the entree chicken or shrimp fettuccine. The dinner comes with salad and bread. The soups come with crackers or french bread. There will be a variety of desserts on the house. I apologize for the tardiness of this post. My dad had surgery a week ago and my time and thoughts have mainly been on him. Everyone have a wonderful prom. Please don't drink and drive. If your gonna have drink PLEASE have someone else drive. Peace from Scooters !

Hey guys. Headed to work and Kenny " heard" water. Pipes from hot water heater busted. Water everywhere. Going through papers and rememberies I have to throw away :( . Have to clean up all the mess and get it fixed. I would so rather be at work. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Good morning. Scooters will not be serving the general public today. The Poplarville Chamber is having their annual banquet in my dining room for the 2nd year in a row. Im sorry for any inconvenience. We will back to regular hours Sunday through Friday for all your roast beef poboy and gumbo needs. Thanks, and Happy Friday the 13th!

Good morning and Happy Wednesday. Be on the lookout for new and exciting things coming to Scooters. We will soon be serving a soup of the week and panini"s. We are now serving french bread pizza. Anything that comes on a poboy we can turn it into pizza. Have a great day!
