Mike never met a stranger. If he saw you while him and Nick were doing karaoke “Mountain Music” being crazy you were his friend. He never passed a stranger that broke down on the side of the road. Come hell or high water he would fix every vehicle he wrenched on no matter how many “F” Bombs he yelled while doing so. February through November he is parked on his couch every Sunday screaming at William Beyron’s pit crew for not doing pit stops like he would do. He was a Green Bay Packer fan and proud of it. “GO PACK GO! At the end of every day Mike lived his life for his family and friends. Mike was a truck trucker at heart, this year in 2026, he made his dream come true becoming the owner/ operator of Hopkins Trucking, LLC. Doug, thank you for your guidance, your patients, but most of all the faith and encouragement you gave to Mike. You are not just the boss but became his family. Mike lived his life to never judge a soul on Earth. Mike had a gift of nurturing and pouring his love into every person he could. There are no words to describe his loss. Light will never be as bright. Be kind with intention. Mike, we love you, big guy!!
