Sometimes, the first visitor of the day doesn’t walk through the door.

Sometimes, they simply stand outside… look in through the glass… and remind you to pay attention.

This morning at Provisions, our first visitor was a reflection of Ponca City.

It stood quietly outside the door, looking in like it was waiting for someone—or maybe just checking to see if we were ready for another day.

And honestly… maybe that’s what the Spirit Fox does.

In the Spirit Fox Chronicles, the fox isn’t just a fox. He’s a reminder that there is more to this world than what we see at first glance. He shows up when we need to slow down, look around, and notice the little moments that might otherwise pass us by.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful customers for the support. We have set records for Provision’s each month since the beginning of June. This has allowed us to share even more of that love you’ve shown with deserving employees and the community at large. We have genuinely tried to respond to the “we need” and many just didn’t pan out. Who knew The Best Steak Sandwich in Oklahoma would be a game changer in our great little community?

One thing I can say is when God said if you decide to leave the corporate world and trust me, watch what I do. I do wish I would’ve had enough faith to do it years ago, but he even knew that I didn’t and blessed me with a wonderful career.
We still choose to take no monetary reward from Provisions, and would rather spread the love.
I don’t know if that will change or not, but I can tell you I have all of the “Provisions” needed from being able to serve our community and seeing the smiles, hearing the conversation, and being able to be a small part of people’s lives!

A little living history from Provisions today. 🥩

A group of hard-working guys from Sparklight stopped in today while they were here in Ponca City doing contract work and helping serve our community. We appreciate the folks who come to town, roll up their sleeves, and do the work that keeps our community moving.

Of course, one of the guys had to take his hand at finishing the Roughneck Ribeye.

And he did it happily. 😂🥩

Whether you’re working the streets, climbing poles, laying lines, building something, or just passing through Ponca City, we’re grateful you chose to spend some of your hard-earned money with us.

That’s what Provisions is all about — good food, good people, and a community worth feeding.
