She didn't climb to Chief of Staff. She built to it — one slow, faithful year at a time.

In 2016, Yareli was twenty years old, driving an hour each way from Pembroke Pines to our Pompano Beach restaurant for fifteen dollars an hour.

A good part of every check went to gas. But she did it anyway, because she believed Efraim when he said they were building something.

She was right.

Ten years later, she's Chief of Staff over both restaurants — and she's still the first one to tell Efraim when an idea needs work. 🤔

The way she says it: "When you're the operator, everyone just says yes. I'll be the one to say, whoa."

She's not afraid to push back, and that's exactly the point. Even the best leaders have blind spots, and the ones who last here are the ones unafraid to name them.

So ask Efraim what he values most in a leader, and it won't be the title or the numbers — it's that kind of honest, bold courage.

And here's the part most people miss: Yareli built all of it without trading away her life.

Her kids stop by the restaurant and get to see — young as they are — what work with real purpose looks like.

In the same ten years, she's raised a family and run two restaurants. Her husband, her kids, the date nights — none of it became the price of the title.

It may not have been the fastest path, but it's the one that lasted — a career that flexes with every season, that lets her stay the mom and the wife she wants to be.

The slow build is the one that puts down roots.

I mean, honestly — I thought I was too good for it.
