Meet La Crêpe Meurtrière — Our Spooky Crêpe! 👻

A golden French crêpe filled with tender chicken breast, melted cheese, and a luscious Cajun-spiced cream sauce, dotted with green, yellow, and red bell peppers. Rich, creamy, boldly seasoned… and frighteningly delicious.

Behind the Cajun inspiration lies a remarkable story: descendants of French settlers in Acadia, in what is now eastern Canada, were expelled by the British beginning in 1755. Many eventually rebuilt their lives in Louisiana, where their traditions evolved into the vibrant Cajun culture.

At Sinful Crêpes, we’re bringing those French roots full circle with our own deliciously wicked creation: French crêpe craftsmanship meets the bold flavors of Louisiana.

And its final Halloween look? Still lurking in the shadows… 😈

TRADITION IS OUR SECRET.
Generations made it extraordinary.

In Normandy, heritage surrounds us — in our monuments, our kitchens, and the gestures passed from one generation to the next.

Rouen Cathedral is one magnificent example of this rich cultural legacy. Its Romanesque predecessor took shape around 1030 and was consecrated in 1063, in the presence of William, the future Conqueror. The Gothic cathedral we admire today grew over the centuries, beginning in the 12th century. Its soaring spire reaches 151 meters — approximately 495 feet — and made it the world’s tallest building from 1876 to 1880.

Every stone tells a story of patience, precision, and craftsmanship.

Our culinary traditions carry that same spirit.

With Norman and Breton roots commonly traced to the 13th century, crêpes have brought generations together around the table. They became closely associated with the Christian calendar: La Chandeleur, or Candlemas, celebrated on February 2, and Mardi Gras, the joyful feast before Lent.

Over time, this simple pleasure welcomed an ever-richer palette of flavors: luscious salted butter caramel, slowly cooked milk jam, rich chocolate, silky chestnut cream, and comforting apple compote. Alongside them, the celebrated butters of Normandy and Brittany embody the importance of beautiful ingredients.
