Just an open letter to the community. Over the past 10 years we have operated 2 restaurants in Polo and currently the Panther is our home. I want to express our gratitude to your continued patronage. You allow my family to provide you with fresh, cooked to order food in return for your continued support.
It's a nervous thing to own a volatile business in a time when hundreds are closing daily across the US. We employ 12 staff all from Polo who make a good wage for their work. They also honor us by providing excellent service.
Many of them have purchased their own vehicles in 2 years of service by saving all they can. I'm proud of them every time I see a new to them car park in employee parking! They can't do that without your continued support and we are grateful.
However, and there's always a However, I have been disappointed twice in the past 12 months by breakins and stealing of cash. We have had 2 incidents of stolen money and sadly both times were done by teenagers after midnight. This saddens me greatly because I see how awesome some teens work and how other teens ages 13-16 are allowed unsupervised after midnight.
We will move on and prosecute those who commit crimes because we have cameras inside and outside the Panther to help aid in bringing them to justice.
Let it be known this is only limited to a few and the support you have shown us over the years is overwhelming. Thanks Polo.
