Short-staffed, completely slammed from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, lost my voice, and cleaned until 11:00 PM... tonight was crazy! But more than anything, I am feeling incredibly grateful. 🙏

To all our customers tonight: thank you for your amazing patience and understanding. You kept us going! A special shoutout to the regular who apologized for ordering before closing—you touched my heart. I am always happy and grateful to prepare dinner for you. What a wonderful community we have here.

I’m on my way to New York now because tomorrow I’ll be attending my son’s school ceremony — a special reward for all his hard work this school year, and something I definitely don’t want to miss.

Tired, grateful and a little emotional tonight.
