It’s been a while since we’ve posted an update on Travis’s cancer journey so here goes. Travis had a CT and treatment last Wednesday and the CT showed no growth but no shrinkage. This has been the case for the past 6 months. His oncologist said that his cancer is stable but will never go away. He can only have two years of immunotherapy and has only 12 more treatments left. Chemo is not an option so the hope is that when he is done with the treatments that his immune system will take over and keep the cancer at bay. The treatments are extremely rough, he is exhausted and has to spend a lot of time in bed. He has been working with palliative care and they have him on some strong meds that somewhat help with the side effects of the treatments. He tries to get to Dino’s when he’s feeling up to it, he wishes he could be there more. He appreciates all of the well wishes, thoughts and prayers.

Dino was such a unique person who loved everyone who crossed his path, I’m sure there were thousands! He is with us in our hearts and memories. We love to hear your stories about Uncle Dean. If you have any to share we would love for you to leave them in the comments. Let’s hear them!
