Happy Easter to all those who celebrate!

Cafe Monte Alto & Chase Street Market will be closing early at 2 PM today to allow our staff to enjoy the holiday with friends and family🐣

Make sure to stop in before then for coffee and sandwiches, we’ll be open regular hours tomorrow!

He folks! We wanted to remind everyone again that we will be closed tomorrow and Wednesday to renovate the pipes/ceiling in the Cafe and Market. We hope to be back open Thursday but we’re waiting to see how repairs go, so thank you for bearing with us as we fix the issues in our building.

Initially the plan was to brew coffee and have the Very Cool tent out of coffee tomorrow, but as New England weather prevails with high winds—we’ve decided to have our coffee station outside on sunny Wednesday morning instead☀️

Appreciate the community support as we handle repairs, and hope to see you for a hot coffee out front on Wednesday under the “Very Cool” tent!

Hey folks..!

If you recall a few months ago we had a pipe burst that had us shut down business for the day—now the time has come to repair the pipes, and replace the ceiling of our fine establishment🛠️

So for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week we will be shut down for our usual hours, but will still be selling brewed hot coffee and Nitro drinks out front on Main Street from 7 AM to 1 PM roughly. We appreciate everyone being so understanding as we get out building back in good order, and hoping to be fully open by Friday, March 20th!

Update on Cafe and Chase Street:

Thank you everybody for being patient with us having to stay closed today! The good news is we are able to open tomorrow normal hours(12/17)but with a couple caveats; the Cafe will have a lower capacity/ability as we’re recovering from a water leak that mostly affected the Monte Alto counter, and has limited us to only one POS system at the Chase Street/Deli counter.

The deli will be in full swing and food service will not be affected as we’re restocking and replacing what was affected in the coffee shops area. We ask for everyone to try and be patient tomorrow as we’re still down a few airpots and a register, hopefully we’ll be returning to normal by next week once we’re able to recover what was damaged.

For the next 24 hours we are closed due to a water leak that happened inside the building early this morning; we’re so sorry for the inconvenience and we are working to get Chase Street and Monte Alto back in working service to reopen ASAP.
