There comes a time in everyone's life where they re-evaluate the path that they're on. I have been back and forth for a couple months now in my head about the restaurant path. So with that being said, I have made the very difficult decision to close down Dilly's at the end of August. August 29th to be exact. Being in this field of work for almost the last 6 years, working almost every weekend with a full time job on top of this, and missing countless hours with my family. This is what it boils down to...family. I feel like I have been neglecting them and I need to change that perception in my own head even though I'm sure they'd say otherwise. I love this business, but my family will always come first. I did not fail. I just need time away. Maybe this isn't goodbye forever, maybe it's just a see you later. Only time will tell.
I want to thank the VFW for allowing me the space to do my thing. I want to thank everyone who has helped me out tremendously...Cat, Judy, Lori L, Lori J, Kasyn, my Aunt Dolly, Erik, Andi, and especially my parents Steve and Jackie. I know they were there more than I was! Who can forget all the regulars that showed up week in and week out?! I will miss you all!
I also want to thank my wife Jill who supported me along the way and had to hold down the fort at home while I was gone from sun up to sun down on some days. Get that honey-do list ready lol. I love you!
❤️ Dilly
