Good morning family!

Please don't let the "road closed to through traffic" signs on 24th scare you away. The Starlite is NOT thru traffic. We are "to traffic". People visiting Starlite Club are not affected by those signs UNTIL our street goes under repair in early September and then it is still passable, just not parkable. The Village told me the road closed signs are placed to keep traffic re-routed from ML from traveling the neighborhoods and to keep them on the marked detour. ML will be closed from 39th (Gordy's) to 22nd/91st street starting 7/27 and the reason our signs go up so early. This will be GOOD news if it keeps anything but neighborhood traffic off of 24th! At least until we are down for the repaving...I will repeat customers CAN park on 24th UNTIL we undergo actual construction and NO PARKING signs are placed for a short time.

Many of you know Keith Kennedy, who has a home in Fremont, WI. While he was not directly affected by the recent flooding, many of his friends, neighbors, and local business owners were.

Unfortunately, without flood insurance, many of these families are now facing the overwhelming burden of covering the damage on their own.

If you’ve stopped by in the last couple of days, you may have noticed the new bollards installed along the building. These are the first step in our upcoming parking lot repaving project, which is scheduled to take place over a minimum of three days.

The plan is:
• Day 1 – Tear-out
• Day 2 – New asphalt
• Day 3 – Curing

We’re aiming for a Monday–Wednesday timeline, but as this week’s weather has reminded us… plans can change.

During the project, the parking lot will be closed. Street parking is available, but it can be tricky—please pay close attention to posted “No Parking” signs to avoid tickets.

And don’t worry—if you’d like to supervise the project from the comfort of your barstool, we’ll do our best to accommodate 😉
