It’s with a heavy heart that we’d like to inform that with our lease coming to an end, Bavette Grill will officially close its doors on Saturday, 19 September 2026. Over the last six years, we’ve had the honor of a lifetime serving you, getting to know you, your families, friends and colleagues.

Words cannot sufficiently express how grateful we are for you and the relationships formed.

While you’ll still find many of us at our sister restaurants, EG Steak and Le BEEF Steak+Frites, we love to spend these last few weeks celebrating what we’ve built together.

We are committed to seeing every event and reservation through this date and we are working diligently to accommodate or possibly reschedule all future events at our sister restaurants.

It has been our greatest privilege to serve you, and we look forward, if time permits, to welcoming you one last time.

The sun: clocked in, at last.

Snow: quietly awaiting its inevitable defeat.
Grill: embers awake, fire finding its voice.
Croquettes: golden, dressed, and not here to play.
Soup: emotionally available.
Mac & cheese: irresponsibly dignified.
Dreams: truer by the second.
Appetite: encouraged.

Doors: open.

Day 137:

Here we lay, weather betrayed yet again. Where has the sun gone? And what day is it anyway? The front door remains a snow exhibit. Admission: yet another ounce of patience.

Inside, we pace. We pace and we dream. We dream of… short ribs. Short ribs gently surrendering to the whisper of smoke, giving itself to the delicious promise of croquette-ness, yearning for the lather of remoulade, nay, coulis, no, both.

We argue with ourselves. We argue with ourselves over soup. And it gets personal. Tomato basil? No, french onion. Always french onion. But only either before or after tomato basil. Isn’t it obvious?

We grow delirious. Delirious over the thought of cheese. Mac & cheese, but not the humble sort… the variety enriched with Chablis-laden bechamel so luxurious it requires a moment of silence, possibly even a speech.

Outside: ice. and snow.
Inside: visions.

Sun, whenever you’re ready… we have plans.
