Wildhorse Bar Dodgeball Tournament – Benefiting Plains Schools
Dear Friends, Staff, Families, and Community Members,
We are excited to invite you to the Wildhorse Bar Dodgeball Tournament, a fun-filled charity
event taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Garrison Park (behind the Printery
building) in Plains, MT.
This will be an all-day, fast-paced double elimination tournament featuring up to 15 teams of
6 players each. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing teams. Food trucks and a
comfortable spectating area will be set up so everyone can enjoy the day.
Entry Fee: $50 per player
This includes a personalized team jersey with your team name and individual player name.
All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to Plains Schools to support our local
students, programs, and staff. We asked our teachers and they responded! This year’s funds
will be divided between stocking both the art room and teachers lounge supplies. Our teachers
have shown wonderful dedication by using their own resources to provide art supplies, such as
colored paper and other project materials, which are not covered under the current school
budget. We’re here to help answer that need!
We are currently forming teams and would love for you to participate! Whether you’re a group of
friends, coworkers, family members, or classmates — grab your team and sign up today. Teams
must have at least 6 players, and one optional alternate is allowed.
Attached (or included) is the official sign-up sheet with full details, payment instructions, and a
liability waiver. Spaces are limited to 15 teams, so register early!

Hey everyone,
After 30 years of bringing the house down with his incredible energy, amazing playlists, and that voice that always got the party started, our beloved karaoke guy, Ed, is retiring!
THIS SATURDAY NIGHT will be his final booking with us at the Wildhorse. We want to give him the epic send-off he truly deserves — full of laughs, songs, stories, and all the love from the people he's entertained for so long.
If you've ever sung with him, laughed with him, or just enjoyed his nights behind the mic, this is your chance to come say thank you and help us celebrate one last unforgettable night.

Dear friends and regulars,

Last night we lost one of our own here at the bar. Many of you were present when it happened, and I want to say how deeply sorry I am that you had to witness something so sudden and difficult.

I’m incredibly proud of the way our community responded. To those who stepped in immediately—performing CPR, staying with him, holding his hand—thank you for your courage and compassion. To those who respectfully kept a distance so the helpers could work, thank you for your thoughtfulness and grace in a chaotic moment. Both mattered.

We’re all still processing this. If you need to talk, share a memory of him, or just sit quietly with a drink or a meal, the door is open. We’re here for each other.

Please take care of yourselves in the coming days. If there’s anything we can do to support you, let us know.
