Happy New Year to all our friends, family, and patrons. We hope the best for everyone. Last year was another successful year with many lessons along the way. This year we look forward to serving you more great food and to better the experience we provide. This year we are going to explore different avenues to one day open up our dining area again, something you’ve all been longing for. We will also be working on ways to improve our food as we try to source better ingredients and cooking methods. Be on the look out for some new specials to be added, both traditional and experimental menu items! Again, thank you for your patronage and a happy new year to you all!

Today was a sad day for all small business restaurants as the governor has announced the shutdown of dining in at restaurants. Luckily us at Hong Kong Star will still be making orders for you to pick up. During this rough time we respect our customers’ choices to self quarantine themselves to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. If you live in the town of Plainfield we will be offering delivery for orders $20 or more. Stay safe, stay clean and stay healthy.❤️
