🍕 Hello to the Pizza Posse! 🍕

I owe you all a quick update — in true over‑zealous fashion, I set our original reopening date a little too tight. To make sure we’re fully ready for the wave of support we’re expecting, our reopening is moving just a few days.

Placitas Pizza will be temporarily closed May 11–17.

We’re incredibly excited to finish settling into the old Café space on the corner of the plaza next to the gallery. You can expect the same great pizza, salads, and sandwiches — now with a renewed focus on quality, consistency, and service. Plus:

• A patio
• Curbside pickup
• A better, more convenient location

We reopen Monday, May 18 with our regular hours:
11 AM – 8 PM, 7 days a week!

Huge thank you to everyone who’s been checking in and offering support — it’s a massive part of why I love this community.

Here’s the plan for the move:
Placitas Pizza will be closed 5/11 through 5/14 while we relocate into the old Placitas Café space.
Then we’ve got inspections, and if everything goes smoothly, we’ll be re‑opening for business on 5/15.

After the dust settles with the move a bit, we start diving into expanding the current menu before deciding which direction to take the concept further.

In the meantime a lot of folks have asked how they can help with this transition.
Honestly, this one’s simple — order this week. The emptier our fridges and freezers are, the easier the move on 5/11.

Thank you all for the constant support. Big things ahead for Placitas Pizza.

🚨 Big News, Placitas! 🚨

We’re excited to announce that later this month (or early next month) we’ll be moving into the old Café space! We’ve officially outgrown our current spot — and the new location gives us more room, more tables, a full patio, and an oven hood that opens the door to a bigger, better menu.

👉 We’re looking for lightly used restaurant tables/chairs! If you know anyone with equipment in storage, send them our way. We’re offering a pizza “finder’s fee” for any solid leads 🍕
What’s coming once we’re settled:
🔥 Chicken wings
🔥 Chicken parmesan sandwich & pizza
🔥 “Upgrade your sandwich with fries” option
🔥 New specialty pizzas
🔥 And more as we grow into the space

We’re also hiring! If you know someone looking for work, send them by — we’ll take it from there.
