Hi everyone! Callahans will be open this week for lunch daily until 3pm with the last day of service being this Friday.

To all the customers who have been there for the past 10 years, I have decided to not renew my lease. The past 10 years on Main Street Pittston has awarded me with meeting some really great people and making some lifelong friends. I want to personally thank Mayor Michael Lombardo for everything he has done for not only me, but for the entire City of Pittston. I would also like to thank Mr William Joyce and the staff at Joyce Insurance for their continued support from day one. Mr Joseph Chacke and the staff of the Redevelpoment Authority have been nothing but supportive. Most importantly, my wife and children for putting up with me and supporting me. I could not have done any of this without them and I love them for that.

I know the city will fill the location with a business who will add to the awesome downtown. I am extremely grateful for being given the opportunity to be part of Pittston’s revitalization over the past 10 years!

Callahans will continue to provide catering and event planning moving forward. The Ice Cream Cart will also remain available for parties and large events
……..and yes we will be at The Pittston Tomato Festival serving up your favorites
