We purchased the Rusty Anchor Marina & Pub in 2012 from the Pittsfield YMCA. The building was in desperate need of repair. It was literally falling into the lake. After 3 months of freezing cold and grueling construction, our building was restored and saved from being only a memory of time past on Pontoosuc Lake. We opened in May of 2013 as a private club and marina. We had 20 boat slips and 30 boat moorings. We are also happy to say we continue to host the Williams College Sail Club. They utilize our facility and docks free of charge each spring and fall. Our goal is to create a rustic setting, casual and fun experience on our 40' x 40' deck and pub, for all of our members to enjoy. Each year we have continued to improve the amenities for our members and guests. We will continue to do so every year. In 2014 our membership grew and we expanded our amenities to include an outdoor kitchen complete with grills, refrigerators and freezer for our members interested in our Pub Club Social Membership.
2015 we we increased our docks and boat slip to accommodate 40 boats. In 2016 we added new canopies for those on the deck prefer a little shade as well as new tables, umbrellas and pub height seating along the deck directly overlooking the water. In 2017 we are proud to open as the Rusty Anchor Marina & Pub. We acquired a Seasonal Beer & Wine license. We have been busy renovating the pub area and the arcade room. In 2021 we move our existing bar to overlook the lake. We added Keno and a full liquor license in 2023. Please stop to see us in April for more information if you are interested

To our boating members. We need to address an issue we have never had before. The Rusty Anchor is a carry in carry out facility. We are happy you are out enjoying your boat and the lake, but we respectfully ask that you do not leave large bags of trash for us to dispose of. Our trash cans on the deck are for the people who are enjoying the deck. A commercial business does not have the
Privilege of free garbage pick up. If your boat is shared with family or friends please pass along this information.

Boat parade, 4th of July, gate opens at 4. 1$ seasonal membership, bring your own food all beverages must be purchased from the anchor. Rumor has it best fireworks ever!

No boats broke free last night, but they were all rocking pretty hard. You should come and check your lines to ensure they did not Frey or
Stretch. Inspect your boat for minor damage. It was quit a storm. ⛈️
