The BIG weekend is almost here -- Little Italy Days starts tomorrow in OUR community! Rocky's is offering a variety of delicious food items for all tastes, everything from hotdogs and pretzels to funnel cakes as well as some authentic Italian dishes and desserts. Yesterday...what an amazing day! I'd like to thank BIKEPGH, UPMC & the City of Pittsburgh for putting together another "Open Streets" to include Bloomfield and Oakland. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of participants from EVERYWHERE for this event. Many stopped in for breakfast. Many of those I met were "just passing through" but it was nice to become acquainted. Kudos again to all the organizers!
