I’ll be honest, it’s a style we hadn’t even heard of till a couple months ago.
Introducing Going Up To Cali Kuyt Ale - also spelled Kuit or Koyt - is a long-lost, historic, golden colored ale that originated in the Netherlands in the 14th century. It is famous for its unique three-grain proportions: 3 parts oats, 2 parts barley, one part wheat. It offers an exceptionally light, smooth, and slightly sweet flavor. Our recipe is 4.5%
The name is after the song Going Back To Cali (LL then Biggie) because our Brighton heights address is 3627 California Ave.
