Woods House Historic Pub A Traditional Pub With a Scottish Accent! We are excited to bring good food, a vibrant atmosphere.

Following in John Woods footsteps the first settlers of Hazelwood were of Scottish descent and settled what was known as Scotch Bottom. We want to honor that original tradition, but also recognize the rich history and cultural diversity that exists in Hazelwood today. The Woods House is where people from all walks of life, local and from other parts of Pittsburgh come to hang out, eat and have fun. Good food that samples eats and drinks found in traditional Scottish pubs as well as our Pittsburgh delicacies and food trucks will also be featured.

Summer is in full swing, and it's time to restart the rounds. We're excited to introduce our artist in residence for August, ! Jake will be hosting 'Rounds at the Woods' every Thursday, featuring two guest artists of his choosing. Join us this Thursday, August 1st at 7 pm. Local artists will share their stories and perform original songs. A $5 cover charge will be collected for the artists.

Arrive early to enjoy some summer cocktails, try our classic Fish and Chips, or savor the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich, complete with Indian spices, crispy fried green tomatoes, sweet tomato jam, leaf lettuce, and feta yogurt sauce on brioche, served with hand-cut fries.

We look forward to welcoming you at the House!
