Piru Indians/ Old Town PIRU

Piru Indians/ Old Town PIRU The traditional name is still in use by local residents.

The name Piru (originally pronounced "Pea-roo" by the Indians) comes from the Tataviam word for the tule reeds growing along Piru Creek that were used in making baskets.

ATTENTION FELLOW PIRU COMMUNITY.......I NEED YOUR HELP ASAP. I'm looking to borrow a wheelchair for my momma. I made plan to take her out today but I thought she still had her wheelchair like this. But she ended up letting someone borrow it and are still using it.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A WHEELCHAIR LIKE THIS ONE THAT WE CAN BORROW FOR A DAY PLEASE?

The ones with the big wheels won't fit in my son's car. We will be using his car and it's a small car. We will be leaving by 1:30pm. I hope someone can find me one or mamma is going to have to stay behind because her knees are really bad and she cannot do much walking anymore.
