Happy week-2 of the busiest month of the year in the kitchen🎃🫣

I’m just going to let the sweatshirt speak for itself🙃💀😂

Every October, I go into it thinking I’ve got the whole month figured out and planned - nope 🙂‍↔️

Obstacles, long kitchen days, SUPER ridiculously early mornings, slower days that I thought would be busy, busy days that I thought would be slow, schedule changes, emails out the wazoo,and so much more.

Anyway - today is DAY 1 of the 60th annual Autumn Leaves Festival in downtown Mount Airy!🍂 Liv For Sweets™️ Bakery ✨Mount Airy, NC location✨

Additional, we will be open normal hours (unless sold out) on Saturday as well! ✨11am-6pm✨ Don’t fear the rain! The festival is happening rain or shine!🌧️

If you park in the parking lot near Market Street, you can find us easy! Just look for the bright pink logo on the window near JuJu's Children’s Boutique 🥰🩷

We’re restocking the case now, so hurry before things disappear!! 🧡🧡🧡

I’ve never created anything quite like this before… and I am OBSESSED with how it turned out🥹🩷📚✨

I truly have the most fun clients, and this birthday girl in particular ALWAYS comes up with the best ideas - so naturally, we all celebrate her birthday around here! 🎂🫶🏻

A cake completely inspired by her love of books, with fully edible cake books, all decorated in buttercream… and the “paper”?! EDIBLE PAPER!!! 😍✨

Getting to bring an idea I’ve never made before to life is one of my favorite parts of what I do. This one was definitely a labor of love, and I’m so proud of how it came together🩷

Here’s to another year of celebrating our favorite book girlie! 📖🎀✨
