It’s June 14 here at Bogey’s Grill and I am really tired this morning. I am not being political, but please help me get this video to President Trump and encourage him to come eat at the diner. If not the Donald, send us Senator John Kennedy of LA, as he is hilarious and makes me loud.

Loved it today when Presley Ward came to the restaurant to eat and to introduce me to her new man! Presley, I think he is a keeper. I am so proud of you and all that you have achieved and are going to achieve once you finish your degree. I LOVE you so very much and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!

Welcome New members of the Bogey Family, Nathaniel and Shanna Kilgore.

What a great surprise happened this evening at Bogey’s Grill. It made me cry tears of joy and I just stared at first because I could not believe who I was seeing. One of my former babies, Nathaniel Kilgore, retired US Navy, came to see me at Bogey’s Grill to eat and to introduce me to his wife, Shanna. I had not seen him since around 2003 and it was definitely a great homecoming for both of us.

We shared stories of Millard High and the impact it had on so many students and the impact they had on me as a teacher and human being with his wife who also teaches. We talked about many of his friends and where they are now and how Millard High School had many success stories!

What is ironic is that another Millard student of mine, Jimmy Lee Moore, who surprised me earlier in the week was from the same holler, Bowling Fork of Marrowbone, as Nathaniel.

I am so proud of Nathaniel’s growth from childhood to manhood as a member of the United States Navy. I also thank him as a defender and protector of our nation and am so glad to have him back in the mountains of Pike County.

I love you and I hope you know how proud my mother was of you and how often she spoke of you!

Shanna, it was great meeting you and I love you simply because you love Nathaniel!

Just a reminder that Emerald Greens Golf Course is looking to add another groundskeeper/worker. Must have experience using zero turn mowers and using a weed-eater.

This is a hard job, but is also a rewarding one! If you are interested in this position, come and see me tomorrow at the course. I should be in Bogey’s Grill, so come on in for an interview.
