A Huge Thank You to Our Summer Crew!

The Donut Shop would like to extend a massive thank you to our incredible summer staff for their hard work, long hours, and donut-stop work ethic to ensuring everyone received their proper, legally mandated fulfillment of buttercream and Danny specials. We literally could not—and would not want to—do it without them!

As summer wraps up, our team members are heading off to new adventures:
Bryce Bowman is headed to Augustana University as a sophomore majoring in Music Education with an instrumental focus. When he isn't handing you a Buttercream Puff, he is serving as a Specialist in the 147th Army National Guard Band. Good luck keeping rhythm with college finals, Bryce!

Aaron Venner is off to Lake Area Tech for the building trades program and is an impressive recipient of the Build Dakota Scholarship. We expect all future Donut Shop renovations to be up to code, Aaron.

If you don’t see our high school staff working hard at the donut shop during the week or weekends this fall, don't worry—they haven't escaped; they are just busy with extracurricular activities:

-Kameryn Bowman is involved in high school band, choir, cheer, and dance.
-Everette Norton will be dominating the pitch playing Govs Soccer.
-Rylan Afdahl will be hitting the ice for Capital Hockey.
-Thomas Snyder will be bringing the thunder playing Govs Football.
Thank you all for your stellar service, sweet dedication, and humor this summer. We wish you the absolute best of luck this school year!

Craving old-timey wagon rides, warm biscuits, fresh donuts, and sweet corn? If you answered "YES!" to any of those, we’ve got your Saturday morning covered!

Swing by The Cabin at 2252 US HWY 14 this Saturday, Aug. 15th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM for delicious food, fun, and good old-fashioned fellowship.

Free-will donations are welcome. Bring the family and come on over!

***ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE***

7th Street access to The Donut Shop is currently closed, access from the south along Euclid Avenue is now open!

You can still easily reach us whether you're traveling northbound on Euclid Avenue or southbound into Pierre on Highway 14.

A huge thank you to the Morris construction crew for keeping our shop accessible while making great progress on the road project. We appreciate your hard work and ongoing support!

***Construction Update***

The Donut Shop’s east access entrance is now open off 7th Street. The road will temporarily operate as a two-way street to allow access traveling east and west along 7th.

A big thank you to the Morris construction crew for keeping us updated on the road changes and helping us stay accessible to the community! Thank you all for your support.
