Fry Bread House is closed today for a community event.

For 25+ years, Fry Bread House feeds the unhoused and those in need on Thanksgiving Day.

We are grateful for our staff and our customers for their work and support over the years.

As a community, let us continue to look out and care for each other.

We will reopen tomorrow, Friday, 11/29/25 at 11am-8pm.

In addition to being closed in observance of Labor Day, The Frybread House wanted to recognize the entirety of our staff that keeps our restaurant running and righteous day in and day out! The Frybread House had the wonderful opportunity of being featured on Leguizamo Does America Phoenix Episode as part of their travels and explorations across the US.

Fry Bread House has the honor of being established in the heart of such a diverse and thriving city! The foundation of our restaurant are our indigenous roots, family, and amazing community. This episode did an exceptional job reflecting what that means for our family and our business!

While a few of our family members were featured in the episode, Fry Bread House has always been a labor of love for our entire family. Each of our family members and staff have contributed to the business over our 33 years. Each have contributed in different ways and have helped move the business forward.

We are proud of the contributions of Native people and we are grateful to Leguizamo Does America for acknowledging and sharing this story. We are immensely proud to be of the larger community of Native people, businesses, entrepreneurs, artists that continue to contribute and shape Arizona, the US and beyond.

Huge shout out to John Leguizamo and his talented crew from down here in the Southwest and for giving Fry Bread House, our family, and the broader community such exceptional and positive exposure! ☀️🌵🖤!!

Our employee, Andreas, is working his last shift tonight before heading out to the Army for Basic Training. This is big life decision so please join us in wishing him well and safe journeys. When you come in tonight, please give him a shout out to help ease the nerves that go along with this life decision.

Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads, soon to be dads, two dads, grandfathers, and those who are father figures to children. Wishing you a joyful day with your child/ren. If you are not with your dad or or missing your child today, we send you prayers for comfort.

We created a Father’s Day board at our restaurant for people to post messages to their dad. Attached is a photo of some of these messages. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we did. We will have the board up for the remainder of June so please add to it when you come in.

And if you are late in getting your dad a Father’s Day gift, bring your dad into the restaurant this week and get a Polaroid picture taken with your dad. Let the cashier know that you and dad want a picture and we will take one.
