✨ Thank You for a Wonderful Evening! ✨

On behalf of Bridge House Brats and the Village of Phoenix, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the Volunteer Service Awards Ceremony. It was an honor to recognize the outstanding volunteers whose dedication, compassion, and commitment help make our community a better place.

We would also like to thank our guest speakers, elected officials, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who contributed their time and efforts to this special celebration. Special thanks to Jake’s Grub & Grog for providing the evening’s catering, Michael Lattimore Jr. for his generous donation of beverages, The Gingersnap Bakery for their delicious baked goods and Casey Brown for volunteering his time and talent to capture the evening through photography. Your support helped make this event a tremendous success.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the volunteers who continue to give back and make a positive impact throughout our community. Congratulations to all of our award recipients. Your service does not go unnoticed, and we are proud to celebrate your contributions.

Together, Bridge House Brats and the Village of Phoenix remain committed to building a stronger, more connected community.

The VFW Post # 5540 Memorial Day Parade in the Village of Phoenix takes place on Monday May 25th beginning at noon. Come watch and support the Bridge House Brats as they make their way down Main Street.

We would like to wish a Happy Birthday to Director Kathy Lathrop. She holds the monumental task of running the show on a daily basis at the Bridge House. She's appreciated more than anyone could express in words!

Today, on what would have been her birthday, we celebrate and remember Catherine "Cathy" Lee for all she did for the youth of our community. Happy Birthday Miss Cathy.

We promise to carry forward the mission you began so many years ago. We will continue to make you proud. We will continue to speak your name and remember all you taught us.

We have extended the deadline for new Brats to May 30th!!

Applications for new Brats are now online! We have exactly 20 positions available for youth between the ages of 8 and 18. There is a screening and interview process that will be conducted after you apply. Applications, along with all pertinent information, can be found on our website at www.bridgehousebrats.org

Parents, for over the 32 years the program has been in existence, we've helped to shape the future of so many youth who have grown into amazing and successful adults and leaders. Now your child can be part of this program that is the only one like it in existence anywhere in the world.

Also, for returning Brats, there's a T-Shirt order form for you to get new shirts if needed. Go to https://bridgehousebrats.org/volunteer/ and you will find a link. Director Kathy will place the order with the correct color needed for you this year.

The summer of 2026 will be our best one yet!

Now that we are into March, reminder that you have until the end of this month to apply for the Village of Phoenix volunteer service awards.

The Village of Phoenix Volunteer Service Awards.

The Village of Phoenix is proud to announce they will be recognizing teens from the Phoenix community for their local impact through volunteer service. The Village will work along-side the Bridge House Brats who will be the certifying organization in that they will accept, review, verify, and present the awards with the village.

There will be Silver and Gold awards based on volunteer service hours.

Silver — 500 volunteer hours
Gold — 1,000 volunteer hours
