It’s crazy how one little moment can turn into something so much bigger than you ever imagined. 🥹💛

What started with a grandmother, a little sandwich-making contraption, and a whole lot of love eventually became the Zookz you know today.

Our founder’s grandmother, Berdjoui, believed that some of life’s best moments happen when we come together over good food. She probably never imagined that the sandwiches she made for her family would one day inspire a little Phoenix sandwich shop that so many people have come to love. 🥪

And while her love inspired the very first Zookz, it’s YOU who have helped turn that dream into what it is today.

Every familiar face that walks through our doors. Every first bite, every returning customer, every kind word, and every memory made around our tables. Those are the things that keep us going every single day.

We’re so incredibly grateful for the community that has grown around Zookz and for the amazing team that helps carry that love forward.

All because one grandmother brought home a little contraption and decided to make something special for the people she loved.

We think she’d be pretty proud of what that little moment became. 🥹💛

From our family to yours, thank you for being part of our story.

Pumpkin season has officially entered the Zookz chat… Even if Phoenix refuses to give us sweater weather, we’re fully committed to pretending it’s fall over here. 🤭🍂

Start with our pumpkin caramel muffin, baked fresh in-house and basically everything you want on a fall morning. Then meet its perfect match: our Pumpkin Cream White Mocha. White chocolate, cinnamon, and creamy pumpkin goodness over an iced mocha for the ultimate little taste of fall. And if you’re feeling extra cozy… add a shot of Baileys or Kahlúa! 🥃☕️

Pumpkin. Caramel. Cinnamon. Coffee. We understood the assignment.

Grab a muffin, order the coffee, and consider this your official permission to romanticize fall—even if it’s still 90° outside. 😂🍁

Who are you bringing on a fall coffee date?

The sandwiches might bring you in, but we hope it’s the people who make you want to come back. 💛

At Zookz, we’ve always wanted to be more than somewhere you stop for breakfast or lunch. We want it to be the kind of place where you walk through the door and feel genuinely welcomed, where someone remembers your order, asks about your day, shares a laugh with you, and makes your visit just a little bit brighter.

We’re incredibly lucky to have a team that brings that feeling to life every single day. The smiles, the dancing, the laughs behind the counter (and apparently the occasional juggling 😂)… that’s Zookz.

Really good sandwiches are what we make. Making people feel at home is who we are. 🥪💛

So whether it’s your first visit or we already know your usual, there’s always a place for you at Zookz.

Dessert plans just got significantly more interesting 🤭

Because why settle for a regular dessert when you could have one packed inside our signature round French bread and toasted until golden, crispy, warm, and gooey?

Our No. 55 with peanut butter + Nutella is basically your childhood cravings all grown up. 💛

So… who are you sending this to as a very subtle hint? 👀

Good food is only part of the reason we love what we do. 💛

It’s the coffee being made in the morning, sandwiches coming out hot and crispy, familiar faces walking through the door, conversations around the table, and our team getting to be a small part of your day.

That’s a day at Zookz. Good food, good coffee, good people, and really good vibes. 🥪☕

Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, meeting a friend for coffee, or grabbing your favorite sandwich for lunch, there’s always a seat waiting for you.

Come hang with us. 🤭

If this is your first time finding us… welcome to Zookz. 🥪💛

We’re a local Phoenix sandwich shop doing sandwiches a little differently. Our signature round French bread is filled with fresh ingredients, sealed, and toasted until perfectly golden and CRUNCHY.

Breakfast is served all day, every sandwich is made fresh to order and customizable, and we’ve got everything from savory breakfast Zookz to loaded lunch sandwiches, salads, coffee, and something sweet for dessert. 🤭

Two Phoenix locations. One very satisfying crunch.

Come see what Zookz is all about. 👀
