This piece of artwork has its own history. It was originally commissioned to cover up vandalism and graffiti. It survived the great food of 2024. We rehung it as a small symbol of resilience.

Small businesses weather a lot quietly. Theft. Damage. Setbacks. Most of it never makes it to social media. Occasionally we cope with humor, like with our now infamous patio vandal AKA the weiner slinger. But most of it, we absorb and move forward.

This one hurts.

Someone ripped this piece straight out of our wall and walked off with something that represented rebuilding. It damaged the space again, physically and symbolically.

It is not just about the art. It is about what it stood for.

We have rebuilt before. We will rebuild again.
And we are deeply grateful for the overwhelming majority of people who show up with integrity and support small businesses the right way.

Thank you for being those people.
