Why Heidi’s Village? 🐾

Because animal welfare is a community effort — and Heidi’s Village helps bring that community together.

Working alongside more than 70 rescue partners, Heidi’s Village provided temporary care for 840 dogs in 2025. But behind every number are people: dedicated leadership, staff, rescue partners and volunteers who gave nearly 27,000 hours of their time last year.

And there’s the Village itself — a place designed to give animals what they need along their healing path, from medical care and training to enrichment, socialization and support.

It’s the people. The purpose. The partnerships. The place. And the reach they have throughout our animal welfare community.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with Heidi's Village — and why it’s a privilege to support their work.

No caffeine. No compromise. No Jack.

Meet No Jack Decaf — our first fully decaffeinated coffee, available now.

Made with specialty-grade Colombia Huila coffee and decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, No Jack delivers a smooth, flavorful cup without the caffeine.

Because choosing decaf shouldn’t mean settling for less.

Roasted right here in Phoenix and available now in 12 oz bags — whole bean or ground.

Proud to be Local First. 🌵☕

Shelter Dog Coffee recently joined Local First Arizona , an organization dedicated to strengthening Arizona’s economy by supporting the local businesses and entrepreneurs who call our state home.

During our orientation, one number really stopped us in our tracks:

For every $100 spent with a local business, $45 stays in the local economy—compared with just $13 when spent with a national brand.

That’s a pretty powerful reminder that where we choose to spend our dollars matters.

For us, being local means roasting our coffee right here in Phoenix, supporting other Arizona businesses, showing up in our communities, and using what we build to help support the people doing lifesaving work for shelter animals.

We’re proud to add Local First Arizona to the community we’re building around Shelter Dog Coffee—and even prouder to call Arizona home. ❤️🌵🐾

Sometimes fostering a dog changes more than the dog’s life. ❤️🐾

Meet Princess—a foster fail in the very best way.

Rescued by Freedom Brothers Rescue and cared for in partnership with Heidi's Village Princess found her way into a foster home about three years ago.

The plan was to give her a safe place to land while she waited for her forever family.

Turns out, she’d already found it. ❤️

Three years later, Princess is the love of their lives—and we can tell you that her name fits her sweet, loving personality perfectly.

Sometimes you open your home to help a shelter dog along their journey. And sometimes that dog decides the journey ends with you.

We’re so glad we got to meet you, Princess. 👑🐾 Morgan Eisenhauer Cook

Every new coffee starts here.

A fresh Brazil natural has arrived at the roastery, and now the real work begins—sample roasting, cupping, dialing in roast profiles, and experimenting with blends until every detail is right.

Not every coffee makes the cut. But the ones that do are worth the wait.

Stay tuned. ☕
