What all started in the kitchen of a South Philadelphia home, soon became a neighborhood treasure and staple. Santucci’s Original Square Pizza was founded by the late Joseph and Philomena Santucci in 1959, with their first location opening on “O” Street in Juniata Park. Joe and Phil always dreamed of creating and becoming a strong family business in the hopes of leaving a lasting legacy for their

children and grandchildren. That dream became a reality when their son, Frank, took over the business and continued the tradition of delicious square pizza. Over the last 60+ years, Santucci's Original Square Pizza has grown exponentially with our eleventh and twelfth locations opening soon! Our Square Pizza and Traditions have withstood the test of time, and if you ever find yourself on North Broad make sure you stop in for a slice (...or pie) of history.
