A little more than three years ago we closed our store on Mitchell Street in Petoskey.
The hardest part of closing the store was saying goodbye to our wonderful employees and great customers.
I’m going to start posting pictures of some of our favorite baked goods, if anyone wants a copy of the recipe please send me an email, at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to send it to you.

A group of volunteers in Texas have constructed the world’s largest gingerbread house - big enough to accommodate a family of five.

Three years ago we saw fit to bring a dream to life. While we were aware of the challenges that we would face we had no idea that the greatest creations we would make would not always be our carefully prepared bake goods and eats but rather the relationships that we forged. Because of everyone we have met along the way we have been a smashing success. However three years later, we at Jolly’s Cookies are taking an opportunity to rethink that dream and take a break from our retail location in downtown Petoskey. We’re hoping to have a retail location in Northern Michigan again someday but on a smaller scale. In the meantime, if you have to have your Jolly’s fix, hit us up on the web! Thanks to all our loyal customers and friends, we love you!

We love making fresh Butternut Squash Soup especially when I can buy the squash from my neighbor at Winter's Farm on Pickerel Lake Road in Bear Creek Township. This year he has some incredible organic squash. These are ten pounds each!

A few weeks ago I was approached my a soldiers mother that wanted to send her son some of our Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies in Afghanistan. I explained it could take ten to twenty days to reach him. Well after wrapping each cookie off they went. Here's her note to us.
Oh....not responsible for the smell of a twenty day old cookie.
We don't use trans fats in our cookies!!
