Back in March of 2020, we were set to release a new beer: 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺, a saison steeped with crushed lemongrass and ginger, intended to be a perfect pairing for Thai Cafe take-out that was (and still is!) so frequently brought in. Then, the day before its release, we were told we’d have to close for Covid indefinitely. With such an unconventional pairing of flavors, we thought we’d end up sitting on that batch of beer until eventually the day would come that we’d need to dump it.

Then something strange happened. Folks who ordered growlers for delivery (remember that?) fell in love with it! Before we were even able to reopen our doors to the public, the entire batch sold out. In the six years since then, the recipe disappeared into the ether and we didn’t think much about it, until tossing around ideas for a bright and refreshing “new” summer beer. “What about Running Dream?” So now—for the first time on draught in the taproom and in cans—we reintroduce a new and improved ginger and lemongrass saison!
