Not every review deserves a response. Some deserve a limited-edition koozie.

Introducing the official Gabacool Provisions “Ruining This Country Since 2023” koozie. Featuring one very real Yelp review, some questionable artwork, and a little inspiration from Jeff Rosenstock . 🤘🏳️‍🌈

But here’s the good part.

100% of koozie sales will be donated to SoCo’s Sexual Assault Prevention, Intervention & Healing Center a local nonprofit working to eliminate sexual assault and human trafficking in Sonoma County through prevention, survivor support, intervention, and healing.

Because if we’re going to make something out of a bad review, we might as well make something good.

Today we officially handed over the keys to the house where Gabacool started. This was originally supposed to be a fun side project where Michele bought me a pizza oven for Christmas.

A lot happened in that little kitchen. Dough experiments, building the brand identity flour teasting , menu ideas, pizzas for friends, Halloween pizzas with full size candy bars & eventually a van parked out front that somehow became a familiar sight on the block.

Our neighbors were unbelievably supportive from the beginning even when the the backyard, kitchen and basically every available surface became part of a very small pizza operation.

Gabacool has grown a lot since those first pizzas (even if they sucked 🤣), but this place will always be part of the story.

We’ve got approximately one business day to unpack, remember what time zone we live in, make a disturbing amount of dough and get this whole operation back on the road.

Thursday we’re at HenHouse Petaluma for trivia night.

No Friday pizza at Moonlight this week we’re using the night to prep for their big anniversary party on Saturday so plan accordingly!

Saturday: Moonlight Anniversary Party. Noon ‘til sellout. Can you believe it’s our third one!?! Neither can we!

Sunday: Ross Street Cooperage + the new downtown Ross Street activation with the market, vendors & all the Sunday fun.
