As many of you may have heard, there have been reports of a foodborne parasite affecting some fresh produce in certain areas. While there is no reason for alarm, we believe in being transparent and proactive when it comes to the health and safety of our customers.

At the Boardwalk Cafe, your health and wellness has always been our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we have reviewed our food safety procedures with our team and are taking extra precautions in the handling and preparation of all fresh produce.

One thing many people may not know is that we only use fresh whole heads of lettuce—never pre-shredded or bagged lettuce. Every head is carefully inspected, prepared, and handled by our team according to our food safety procedures.

As a family-owned business, if we wouldn't serve it to our own family, we won't serve it to yours. That has been our promise since we opened our doors, and it will continue to be the standard we live by every single day.

We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food handling, and quality because that's what our customers deserve.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from all of us at The Boardwalk! 🇺🇸

Today, as America celebrates its 250th birthday, we remember the courage and conviction of our Founding Fathers who, in 1776, declared that this nation would be built on the God-given rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

For 250 years, generations of Americans have worked, served, sacrificed, and defended the freedoms we enjoy today. The freedom to worship, speak freely, build a business, gather with loved ones, and pursue the American Dream are blessings worth celebrating and protecting.

The 4th of July is about more than fireworks and cookouts. It's a day to reflect on our nation's history, give thanks for the liberties we enjoy, and honor those who have helped preserve them throughout the generations.

Today, The Boardwalk will be closed so our team can celebrate with their families and friends.

We wish you all a safe, happy, and blessed Independence Day. May God continue to bless our community and the United States of America.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. Their sacrifice is the reason we are blessed to live in this great country and enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget the cost of that freedom.

We are also reminded of the greatest sacrifice ever made — the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we may have hope, grace, and eternal life. Through Him, we are blessed beyond measure.

From all of us at The Boardwalk Cafe, thank you to the heroes who served, the families who sacrificed, and to the God who continues to bless America.

May God bless you, and may God continue to bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

Friends, just a quick Memorial Day weekend update for our Boardwalk locations 🇺🇸

📍 Boardwalk Peru will be CLOSED Saturday May 23rd.

📍 Boardwalk Logansport will be OPEN Saturday from 11am–9pm for all your favorites!

Both locations will then be CLOSED Sunday & Monday so our team can spend time with family and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We will reopen Tuesday with normal business hours. 💜
