I believe in honesty and transparency, and in my 10 years of business, the last year and half have been the hardest. Reflecting on the past year of running my small business has been a whirlwind of growth, challenges, and moments where giving up seemed like the easier option. It’s been a journey of learning, resilience, and surprisingly, immense personal growth.
As I reflect on the past year, I realize that challenges are not roadblocks but stepping stones. Each obstacle has taught me valuable lessons about resilience and adaptability.
The one lesson I’ve taken away from the past year- it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. It’s how I respond to those challenges that make me the woman I am today.
This journey has certainly taken me some incredible places- like the beautiful Hocking Hills area many times! This past weekend we ventured south, and what I was sure was going to be a complete washout of an outdoor reception turned out to be some incredible views of rolling storm clouds! I always say, there’s at least one challenge on every delivery!
