The men of SORE helped make some children happy at Christmas this morning at our coffee session.
We took $100 dollars from the PIG Fund and gave it to John Andorf for the Perry Toys for Tots program. This project is chaired by John Andorf and his wife Linda.
But, besides the money from the PIG fund the men passed the hat and donated another $130 dollars from theri wallets. giving the Toys for Tots program a total of $230 dollars.
John then purchased fifteen gift cards that he will give out to the older students, to be used at the Perry Perk. The gift cards have a $15 value.
The high school students stop in at the Perk after school and in the mornings when they are not having classes. Our money goes to making a teenager's life a little happier and the money stays in Perry , and gives the Perk more business. Linda and John Andorf gave us a big thank you to the SORE coffee group.
