Here’s one that’s good. Think end of summer, early fall garden party. Ina Garten shows up in a 2008 mini coop convertible with a roasted eggplant spread. All you had to do was show up and you did.
This one probably won’t win any brackets or make a lot of noise. Sort of like a role player on a solid basketball team. I like to think I was a bit of role player myself on my 8th grade squad. We even made a splash in the playoffs that year. Could box out hard, foul like hell, make a free throw or two.

What if I told you we went on a bit of an Odyssey ourselves? But for local shrimp. Brunswick, GA’s best
Purveyors of the finest wild caught shrimp you can get your paws on. The place is so cool. Smells like the sea and makes you wish you were a shrimper. Aaron helps us with our order. He dons a Braves shirt and some of the coolest tattoos I’ve ever seen. A foot long shrimp up his forearm. I’m in the right place.
We landed on an amount and loaded up from Brunswick stoping at damn near every Parker’s and Dairy Queen between here and Perry. The car is 50lbs heavier. The biggest Coleman cooler on the market, iced down, stretches from trunk to center console. Thank god they’re no weigh scales for Honda hatchbacks. I’m overweight and behind on my log books. Running purely on local shrimp adrenaline and Reese’s blizzards™️.
Shrimpin ain’t easy, but not letting your friends eat imported shrimp is.
