💼 The Perk: First Job | Working Here Nearly 3 Years

Please help us Congratulate Conor!
Conor has been part of our team for almost three years, but we have known him much longer than that! Conor is also a Perk legacy. With his Mom being part of The Perk family for many years, we have had the privilege of watching Conor grow from a little kid coming into the restaurant, to a teenager at his very first job, and into a fine young man who takes a lot of pride in being on point and keeping things running smoothly. Conor is kind, authentic, dependable, and takes pride in doing things the right way with attention to detail.
After graduation, Conor will be attending East Stroudsburg University, where he plans to study Accounting.
When asked what he has learned during his time at The Perk, Conor shared:
💪 "Always work hard, even if you don't feel like it. Letting outside things impact your work isn't going to help you move up."
And for anyone considering a job at The Perk, Conor had this advice:
⭐ "It's a great place to learn how to work with others and manage a job, important skills for later in life!"

We have truly enjoyed watching Conor grow up, and we know his strong determination will take him far.

💼 The Perk: Team Member Since 2026

Help us Congratulate Julian! 🎉

Although Julian has only been part of our crew for a short time, he quickly became a great addition. Julian joined our team shortly after his brother, Jamison. His friendly personality and true gentleman nature have made him a valued team member.

After graduation, Julian plans to serve in the United States Navy and then pursue his goal of becoming a Pennsylvania State Trooper. During high school, he has been involved in the ROTC program, helping prepare him for a future of service to his country.
When asked what he enjoys most about working at The Perk, Julian shared:
❤️ "The customers. I love talking to the older customers."
One of the things that makes hospitality so special is the relationships we build, and Julian has a genuine appreciation for getting to know the people who walk through our doors.
And for younger students looking toward the future, Julian offers this advice:
⭐ "Take all the chances you're offered. One can be a chance you will never regret taking."
That's excellent advice from someone already preparing to take on exciting opportunities and challenges of his own.

Congratulations, Julian! We are proud of you and wish you the very best as you begin your journey in the Navy and work toward your dream of becoming a State Trooper. Thank you for being part of our team 🎓🇺🇸

Please help us Congratulate Wesley! 🎉
Wesley has been part of our team for almost three years, and from day one, he has greeted everyone with a giant smile and a friendly hello. He has always been a dependable member of our staff. Whether helping guests or supporting his teammates, Wesley is always willing to do more than his part to keep things running smoothly. His good judgment and positive attitude make him someone we can always count on. We have enjoyed watching Wesley grow from a familiar face dining with his family at The Perk into one of our valued team members.

After graduation, Wesley plans to attend Kutztown University.

When asked about his favorite memory at The Perk, Wesley shared:
🎅 "Santa Night."
And we agree—Dinner with Santa is one of the most magical nights of the year. 🎄✨

One of the biggest lessons Wesley will take with him into the future is the importance of teamwork.
💪 "How to work well with others."

And for younger students starting one of their first jobs, Wesley offers some important advice:
⭐ "Make sure to be nice to customers."

Sometimes the best advice is the simplest. Treating people with kindness goes a long way, both in hospitality and in life. Wesley has consistently set a positive example with his warm personality, friendly nature, and genuine kindness.

💼 The Perk: Nearly 3 Years

Please help us Congratulate Julia!!🎉
As a Perk legacy, Julia followed in the footsteps of her sister Maddie, who also worked here throughout high school and on her breaks from college. Over the past three years, Julia has built her own reputation as a leader who consistently sets the bar high. Gracious, dependable, and team-oriented, she always does the right thing for both our guests and her coworkers.

After graduation, Julia plans to attend Gwynedd Mercy University, where she will study either Early Elementary Education or Psychology.

When asked about one of the biggest lessons she has learned while working at The Perk, Julia shared:

💪 "A huge thing I've earned from working at The Perk is a good work ethic. Being dedicated to the job and showing up not only for yourself, but for others is a big deal. You want to be someone that people around you can rely on, and this job has definitely taught me that skill."

And for any underclassmen or students looking for their first job, Julia offers this advice:

⭐ "Work hard but have fun. I've had the privilege of getting to know the entire staff, and shifts become much easier and enjoyable when you are friendly and kind to others. This is a very tight-knit group that becomes family very quickly."

Julia's words perfectly reflect the example she has set during her time here. We are incredibly proud of her and can't wait to see all she accomplishes in the years ahead.

Please help us Congratulate Ava!
Ava is what we like to call a "quiet storm." She may not always be the loudest person in the room, but her determination, grace, work ethic, and steady presence speak for themselves. Over the past year and a half, Ava has become a dependable member of our team, always willing to jump in and help get the job done.

As a student, employee, and dedicated dancer, Ava has balanced many responsibilities while continuing to grow and achieve her goals. Her hard work and positive attitude have made her a valued member of our team.

After graduation, Ava will be heading across the Atlantic to attend Trinity College Dublin, where she plans to major in History. What an incredible adventure ahead!

When asked what she has learned during her time at The Perk, Ava shared:
💪 "A positive attitude and determination will take you far."

And for any underclassmen getting ready to look for their first job, Ava offers this advice:
⭐ "Be able to work as a team, have an open schedule, and a friendly personality."

We are excited to see where her journey takes her beyond Dublin and we know Ava has a bright future ahead.

Please join us in congratulating Ireland! Over the past two years, we've had the pleasure of watching her grow from a quiet, shy teenager into an energetic, outgoing, and confident member of our team. Her willingness to jump in wherever help is needed on the dining room floor has made her a valued part of our restaurant family.
After graduation, Ireland plans to complete the required hours in her cosmetology program and earn her cosmetology license.
When asked about her favorite memory at The Perk, Ireland shared:
🎤 "My favorite memory is probably working on karaoke nights and getting to hear all the singers."
One of the lessons she'll take with her into the future:
💪 "A skill I've learned from The Perk is being able to balance working hard and having a fun time."
And for any underclassmen or students looking for their first job, Ireland offers this advice:

Please join us in Congratulating Zoey! Zoey has been part of The Perk team for about a year, and we’re excited to celebrate her as she prepares for her next chapter.

After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Valley Forge to study Early Education.
When asked about her favorite part of working at The Perk, Zoey shared:
❤️ "I love being able to talk to my coworkers and share jokes and stories with each other."
And when asked what advice she would give to future students and employees, Zoey said:
⭐ "Don't be scared of the adults you work with. They all want to help you and give you advice to get better and keep improving. They don't want to upset you, so don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it." 😄

We know Zoey's caring nature will serve her well in her future career in education.

Join us in congratulating Liv! 🎉 Pennridge Class of 2026

After graduation, Liv plans to attend Bucks County Community College to pursue her LPN (Licensed Practical Nursing) certification. Liv has been working at The Perk for seven months and quickly became a valued member of the squad.

When asked about her favorite memory at The Perk, Liv said it's the feeling of being part of a team that stands out the most.

❤️ "Everyone is family toward each other. It feels like a family every time you walk into The Perk, with both customers and employees."

One lesson she will carry with her into the future is the value of hard work and teamwork.

💪 "No matter how busy or how hard things can get, hard work always pays off. Everyone around me always makes it easier to come into work."

And when asked what advice she would give to future students and employees, Liv shared:

⭐ "Always work hard and work as a team. It will get busy and it will get hard, but having someone helping you makes it so much easier."

Throughout her senior year, Liv balanced school and two jobs while still hunting for extra shifts and asking teammates, "Do you need off?" Her hustle, reliability, and willingness to help whenever a shift needed coverage speak volumes about her work ethic. Simply put, Liv loves the grind, and we have no doubt that her strong work ethic and kind heart will serve her well in the nursing field.
