$20/HR STARTING PAY | DAY SHIFTS ONLY

We’re looking for someone who wants to become a key part of our kitchen team at Hemi’s Cafe.
This isn’t a position where we’re necessarily looking for the person with the longest résumé or the most years of restaurant experience. While professional cooking experience is certainly preferred, we’re much more interested in finding the right kind of person.
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative. Someone who sees what needs to be done and does it without always needing to be asked. Someone who works with a sense of urgency, takes pride in doing things correctly, and understands that every responsibility in a restaurant matters.
We need someone who’s willing to learn how to handle a busy breakfast and lunch rush, work efficiently alongside others, and take responsibility for keeping our kitchen clean, stocked, organized, and running smoothly.
No job in our restaurant is beneath anyone, including ownership. We believe in working together, helping one another, and taking pride in the little things just as much as the big ones.
For the right person, we’d love for this to become more than just another job. We’re looking for someone who can eventually grow into a leadership role, take on greater responsibility, and earn increased compensation along the way.
* Starting pay of $20 per hour
* Day shifts only, generally around 8AM–2 PM (occasionally 2:30 PM)
* No evening shifts
* Two consecutive days off
